You are welcome to rent a chalet, cabin, birch wood studio, mobile home, birch wood tent, or hotel room surrounded by nature. We also offer very attractive pitches for your caravan, camper, trailer tent, or tent.

Camping de Berken is known for its excellent atmosphere and facilities. It is with good reason that the ANWB has rated our camp site in Drenthe with 4 stars. Almost all pitches have 10A electricity (upgrade to 16A is possible), a wastewater drainage system, a tap water station and a TV connection. Some pitches also have private sanitary facilities and artificial grass near the awning.

An important feature of Camping de Berken are the luxurious campgrounds and rental possibilities it offers. Our fully furnished hotel rooms with natural surroundings are very unique; they combine the comfort of a hotel with the beauty of nature in Drenthe. And our new and extra-large comfort XL pitches are in high demand with our guests.
Camp store and local breakfast
During the entire year, we offer free Internet for all our guests. You can buy hot sandwiches, newspapers, ice, gas, and other groceries in our nice little store. And you can order an authentic local breakfast. This will be ready for pick-up in a nice basket.
Brasserie and children facilities
If you want a refreshment or a bite to eat, you can visit Brasserie Flair, which is just next-door. It has a sunny terrace with a lovely view. Children up to the age of 10 years can enjoy themselves in multiple playgrounds, an indoor playground, and an art and craft room. And during the busy months, there will be an entertaining recreation programme.
Perfect location for activities
Camping de Berken is the perfect starting point for a bicycle or walking tour in the surrounding area. Nature reserve ‘Het Drouwenerzand’ has everything you need to enjoy a relaxed holiday: forest, heather, and drift sand landscapes. And there are so many other things to do nearby, such as horseback riding, golf, and trips to some immensely popular attractions.
