In the Angelslo district of Emmen, in prehistoric times, dolmen builders placed two dolmens, where the dolmens are now incorporated between the new construction of the district. Today, the dolmens have the character of a park ornament rather than an archaeological monument. If you drive from the main road into the Angelslo district, you must keep to the Heesackers. On the right hand side you will find dolmen D46 and on the left hand side you will find dolmen D47.
