coffee and tea pouring shop Reiling Hoeve - Gasselternijveen
The 'Reiling Hoeve' is a farm with a history dating back to the year 1775. This farm has been owned by the Reiling family since its first construction. I am now the 7th generation of Reiling to live here in the farm. The first farm that stood here was probably a transverse farm of the 'Hallenhuis' type and was built on a sand head. Unfortunately, this farm burned down completely in 1862, after which the current farm was built. Together with my husband, we have completely restored the farm in recent years and many old elements have been restored to their former glory, including the old box bed wall with painted box bed in the state room!
Since August 1, 2019, there has been a coffee and tea shop here, called 'Reiling Hoeve'. It is friendly and small-scale here, but everything is there. There is a spacious terrace, but there is also plenty of room inside in the stately room with a painted box bed wall. The coffee is made barista-style and you can choose from 40 flavors of loose tea, mostly organic and homemade delicacies. You can also choose from various types of cold drinks and 'home made' iced tea or a refreshing ice cream.
At the Reiling Hoeve you can easily start a cycling or walking route, parking facilities are available. There is a repair station, bicycle pump, charging point and a cycling and walking junctions information board! Inside you will find various brochures and information about the region. De Reiling Hoeve is affiliated with 'Rustpunt'.
The Reiling Hoeve also offers various nice tea gifts, tea accessories, regional products including Bronneger Bier and products from 'DrentsGoed' and of course a choice of more than 40 flavors of loose tea for sale!
And...Gasselternijveen has a rich shipping history and that is how Dutch Baptism originated here at the Reiling Hoeve, documentation about this is available inside and I will be happy to tell you about it if you have any questions.
