Holiday Home Wateren I is located on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold nature reserve in Drenthe The Netherlands in the village Wateren. From the holiday house and the spacious enclosed garden (1,400m2) you can walk and cycle straight into the nature reserve with forests, heathland and sand drifts. Wateren is located in the middle of an extensive nature reserve where you can walk and cycle in all seasons, spot wildlife and birds and enjoy the peace.
The holiday home is tastefully decorated, suitable for 1 - 5 people and for all ages and has good beds so that you can rest optimally (3 bedrooms), a wood stove inside and outside (with pizza oven), a washing machine and dryer, Nespresso and filter coffee, a dishwasher and combi oven, Wi-Fi, TV with all channels and many board games. Cot and high chair available.
From the various seats in the garden and the hammock you can enjoy the peace and the sound of the birds around you and other animals such as squirrels, toads and all kinds of butterflies. For the children there is a trampoline, and a play frame with swing and rings. Playing hide and seek in the garden and looking for squirrels and gnomes will keep them busy for a long time.
We would like to welcome you for a weekend away with friends & family or a holiday for 2 or with the children. Dogs are allowed and very welcome in the forest houses of Boshuisjes Drenthe.
