There are wonderful walking routes in the area for both all-day hikers and families with children. Veenpluisroute, Wolvenspoor and Sprokkelspoor are a small sample of the routes. Cyclists and mountain bikers can enjoy the many and well-maintained routes. Bicycles and mountain bikes can be hired.

Go climbing at our neighbours from Joytime.
Explore the river Hunze by canoe from 25 Graden Noord or Breeland Recreatie.
Seek out the water! Swimming, paddling, building sandcastles and in spring maybe even watching tadpoles can be done at Gasselterveld and Ieberenplas, for example.
